A Movement For Kindness

Giving a cuppa to those who need it most in Hospitals

Why we want to sprinkle love, cuppas + kindness

If anyone knows hospital cafés, it's me.

I've spent years in hospitals with my family. From my daughter being in special care as a newborn, to my dad's many health battles, including bowel cancer, prostate cancer, kidney failure, and heart failure. And most recently, my mum underwent major brain surgery to remove a 6cm meningioma brain tumour.

Because of these experiences, hospital cafés have become a safe place for me, somewhere to take a moment, gather my thoughts, and find the strength to keep going during the hardest times.

I've learned that a cup of coffee at just the right moment can make a world of difference. Even more so when it's unexpectedly handed to you.

That's why The Coffee Fairy exists - to turn a simple cup of coffee into a small act of kindness for people facing some of life's most challenging moments.

It might be a soon-to-be dad while his wife is in labour, a parent or grandparent of a premature baby, a nurse exhausted after a double shift, a paramedic finishing a long and challenging shift, a doctor grabbing a rare moment to pause, a frontline healthcare worker caring for others, a family member sitting beside a child in the cancer ward, or someone who has just received life changing news.

For many people, days turn into weeks and weeks turn into months in hospital. Whether they're receiving care, supporting a loved one, or providing lifesaving care themselves, everyone deserves a small moment of kindness.

If there's even a small chance that we can brighten someone's day, offer a moment of comfort, or give them the energy they need to keep going, then that's what truly matters.

Thank you for supporting The Coffee Fairy.

Together, we're changing the world with smiles, one coffee at a time.

Love,
The Coffee Fairy xoxo
